Agriculture is more than growing plants and raising livestock

There is a broader purpose to agriculture and natural resource management.

Multifunctional agriculture recognizes that beyond agriculture’s role of producing food and fiber, there may also be other beneficial functions that contribute to the socio-economic viability of the landscape.

They include management of renewable natural resources, landscape and biodiversity conservation, and sustainable stewardship of our land, air and water.

We strive

to utilize multifunctional agriculture to advance equity and social justice for persons with disabilities, implement carbon farming practices, produce sustainable wool, reduce fuel load through rotational grazing, and to foster partnerships with grazing co-ops, fiber arts, environmental conservation and habitat restoration communities.
