Laurie is a mother of three great kids, one of whom is autistic with high support needs, and two adorable dogs, also with high needs. She is a Bay Area native and graduate of UC Berkeley with degrees in art and french and an MFA in printmaking, which made her well-suited to several past and current careers: cake decorator, baker, chef, graphic and web designer, mom. She loves to garden and tends to go big (her first garden had 30+ tomato plants). She is very excited to be part of a sustainable organic farm and strongly believes in the therapeutic value of hands in the soil.
